The Power is in the name of Jesus!

New Posting!!!!!!!

Todays church is ineffective, I don't need to be physically there to see and understand this. All over the world today where bearers of the Gospel are, they are addressing that the church today is ineffective. They say how the power of God is rarely seen, miracles are not taken place, healings are not received, transformed lives are not happening. The Holy Spirit has left us. The truth of the matter is we have replaced the power of Jesus with our word and not the Word of God.

In the New Testament of the Word, there was a woman who had a sick child, that would eventually die if the child was not healed. She took her child to the disciples where they laid hands on the child and prayed healing for the child. Nothing happened! absolutely nothing happened. How was it that the disciples who were hand picked by Jesus not able to do the works of the Father the way he did and more the way he promised? The woman approached Jesus and he saw and knew her worries. Jesus asked her why is she troubled? She replied saying that her child is sick and would eventually die! Jesus told her to take her child to the disciples so they could lay hands on the child and receive healing. The woman said, she did that but nothing happened. Jesus saw that the woman who once believed in him doubted and had lack of faith in him because of the lack of power represented by the church his disciples. Jesus told her to bring the child to him and she did and he healed the child, and her faith in him was restored because she saw and received the power directly from Jesus. When the disciples saw this they were amazed, and said to Jesus, what was it that you did that we didn't, since we did the very same thing that you have done, yet she was healed by your hands and not by ours. Jesus simply told them that there lack of faith and unbelief in the power was the reason.

In another section of the New Testament there were sorcerers and practicer's of witchcraft who knew the power of God and were able to preform great things in that power, but for illegitimate gain. These individuals were making money and profits of gain from the results of the power in the name of Jesus. How was it that these individuals who represented the world able to do great things and how were they able to release the power that the disciples who represented the church were not able to. How?

Lack of faith and unbelief. We are living in a day and age where love amongst us as a people is null and void. Because of this we are separated as a people, and that wont change until you receive the love of God thru his son Jesus. I know, you are probably saying, oh he is a fanatic, Christian. I know, you are probably saying what does Jesus have to do with this? I know, you are probably saying, they all say the same thing. But, this is a blog where I will not compromise the truth of Jesus and how all things are held together by him. My job is not to see who is telling the better truth, nor is it my job to force you to believe what I believe. My job is just to share the good news of the Gospel in a way that can be understood. The only way I can do that is to tell the truth and because Jesus is truth thats always the best place to start. Everything I speak about can be found in the Word of God. If its not in the Word of God, I will not speak about it. I also want to make it loud and clear, that I will stand corrected by the Word of God, for as long as it is the Word of God I am being corrected with. If I dont understand it, I wont speak about it until I fully comprehend it. Otherwise, I speak the Word of God as precisely as it was written. That is why the truth hurts sometimes, sometimes it hurts real bad because it speaks to a part of us that leads us to conviction. The truth makes us uncomfortable sometimes, especially when it applies to us as individuals personally. The truth also sets us free. Some of us can handle the truth, some of us cannot.

That truth is Jesus, and the power of God is in the name of Jesus. Its the name that is above all names.

Behold, Jesus Christ is coming, are you ready?

The Word, The Gospel, The Truth!

New Posting!!!!!!!

Its been a while since I have updated my blog with a posting. But I assure you it was worth the wait. During this time of silence I have been listening to the Word of God more than I have been talking about it. It was during this time where I heard the voice of God and received revelation and mysteries understood from his Word. Its wonderful to be able to listen to God and be taught by him directly. Its a relationship that's available to all, and revelation and understanding his Word is available to all. I grew up in the church all my life, went to Christian school, and heard every single possible message from the Word from the pulpit. If there is one thing that is for sure, it is we as individuals must have a personal relationship with God to understand his ways. I can share a few things with you, but my job is to lead you to the one who can tell you and show you directly the way he showed me. All you have to do is listen.

I believe in God, although that is the name of the title in which he sits in. I refer to him as Yahweh, Elohim, or Jehovah. there are many names that you can associate with God, but these are the ones of my preference. Scriptures declares that if my people meaning God, will call upon my name then I will hear them and heal their land. I believe that Jesus is the son of God (Yahweh) and he was sent in the flesh to live and speak the ways that led us to his Father who sent him. The Holy Spirit is embedded in all man and when the truth is spoken, it compels you towards the truth. Scriptures declares that the Holy Spirit is with all man because without it man cannot stand.

The Kingdom of God is not spoken to be heard, its spoken to be spoken. The Scriptures shows us that before the coming of Christ, The Gospel would have been heard by all. There is still many who haven't heard it because if we all did then the Kingdom would have already came. Now hearing and listening is two different things. That is why Scriptures declares that before Christs return we all would have heard the Gospel and the Good News of the Gospel. That doesn't mean we will listen to it. Now the Word is truth, that truth became life, and life was Jesus when he became flesh. He came as the Word, lived and spoke the Word, declared by the Word. Now the Word contains the Gospel, Jesus as the Word and the Truth came to bring correction and thru the Word (Jesus) as the Word the Gospel was spread and available to all. The Gospel is the Kingdom of God declared to all. The Good News is that it is available to all. He was Gods mouthpiece and resemblance in character on earth, that led us to the belief in the Father who sent him. Scriptures also declares that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. Its the confession that allows us by grace to enter his gates with Thanksgiving and Praise. This was the mind and perfect will of God. He knew the end before the beginning was declared.

Scriptures teaches us that it is impossible for Truth to come from error, but error came from the Truth. There are 22 major dominant religions of the world, of which despite the indifference's have a belief in one true God.
The number 22 according to scripture signifies light. If there is one thing in common all these religions have a teaching and way of life of a higher being. The messages of these religions are often positive. These 22 religions are the symbolic lights that have a teaching of some sort of truth. These 22 religions at some point at the origin of their beginnings came from the Truth or some portion of Truth. Because of carnal understanding and mishandling of the Word, religion which is known as man made was developed. We are separated by our way of thought and understanding of the Word that it prevents us from fulfilling the greatest commandment of loving one another. Jesus was The Truth and Light of the world. He was sent to tell us all directly who he was since man has got him all wrong. The question is who do say that I am. It starts with Jesus. He is the light of the world, The perfect Truth, the Word fulfilled that led us to the one who sent him. The one true God.

Behold, Jesus Christ is coming are you ready!

Fear Him!

New Posting!!!!!!!

Luke, chapter 12

1: In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable
multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say
unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which
is hypocrisy.
2: For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that
shall not be known.
3: Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light;
and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the
housetops.
4: And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and
after that have no more that they can do.
5: But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath
killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
6: Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is
forgotten before God?
7: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye
are of more value than many sparrows.
8: Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son
of man also confess before the angels of God:
9: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
10: And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be
forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not
be forgiven.
11: And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and
powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall
say:
12: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

How do you know a Word is the Word from the Word?

New Posting!!!!!!!

Last night while I was writing this posting the Lord told me to stop and release it this morning. As you see in the posting below, I started with a list of questions. As I was releasing the Word as I believed it to be embedded in my bosom, the Lord spoke to me. He told me to get The Word of God and listen. So I did. This is what the Lord was saying to me in his Word.

Blue- Questions
Red- Answers

How do you know a Word is a Word from the Word? How can you discern the sound of sound doctrine when that sound is heard? How are we to receive the word or sound doctrine when it is spoken? What allows you to receive the accuracy of the Word, whether you hear it or read it? What makes the Word come to life? Who determines that? How can we receive what we don't know? Simply by faith! You either have it or you don't. But the answer is faith. The level of your own personal faith will allow you to receive the Word based on the amount of faith you have in believing it. My personal faith and belief and opinion and interpretation of scripture does not help you. Whether I am right or wrong in what I believe in, my faith does not determine your faith and your faith does not determine mine. Its an individual faith that one must have to receive the Word of God. You must first have faith to believe that God exists before you can understand anything from God you must believe that he is real. Because God is an invisible Spirit and cannot be seen by the physical eye, you must simply believe in it even if you don't see it. That is what faith allows you to do. It allows you to believe and have hope in something without even seeing it. Once you believe in him, the level of your faith and understanding of him is received in the measure of faith used to receive anything from God including his Word. No mans understanding of the Word of God is on the same level. Its just not. Because everyones faith is not the same. Now because we have mis interpreted so much about God, he has sent his son Jesus to correct what man has incorrect. Jesus is the correction at all times. To receive Jesus you must have faith to receive him as the son of God.

Hebrews, chapter 10

1: For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very
image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by
year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2: For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the
worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3: But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

4: For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away
sins.
5: Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering
thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:
6: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
7: Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to
do thy will, O God.
8: Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering
for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by
the law;
9: Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first,
that he may establish the second.
10: By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of
Jesus Christ once for all.
11: And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same
sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
12: But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down
on the right hand of God;
13: From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
14: For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15: Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said
before,
16: This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the
Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them;
17: And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
18: Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
19: Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood
of Jesus,
20: By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil,
that is to say, his flesh;
21: And having an high priest over the house of God;
22: Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

23: Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is
faithful that promised;)
24: And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some
is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day
approaching.
26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the
truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
27: But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which
shall devour the adversaries.
28: He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who
hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the
covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite
unto the Spirit of grace?
30: For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will
recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
31: It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
32: But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were
illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;
33: Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and
afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.
34: For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of
your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an
enduring substance.
35: Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of
reward.
36: For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye
might receive the promise.
37: For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not
tarry.
38: Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall
have no pleasure in him.
39: But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that
believe to the saving of the soul.

Hebrews , chapter 11

1: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen.
2: For by it the elders obtained a good report.
3: Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,
so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
4: By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which
he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by
it he being dead yet speaketh.
5: By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not
found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this
testimony, that he pleased God.
6: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God
must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek
him.
7: By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with
fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the
world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
8: By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should
after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither
he went.
9: By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country,
dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same
promise:
10: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is
God.
11: Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was
delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who
had promised.
12: Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the
stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore
innumerable.
13: These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen
them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that
they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
14: For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
15: And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came
out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
16: But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is
not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
17: By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had
received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
18: Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
19: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from
whence also he received him in a figure.
20: By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
21: By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and
worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
22: By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children
of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
23: By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents,
because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's
commandment.
24: By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of
Pharaoh's daughter;
25: Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy
the pleasures of sin for a season;
26: Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt:
for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
27: By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he
endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
28: Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he
that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
29: By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians
assaying to do were drowned.
30: By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about
seven days.
31: By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she
had received the spies with peace.
32: And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and
of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the
prophets:
33: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained
promises, stopped the mouths of lions,
34: Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of
weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies
of the aliens.
35: Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured,
not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
36: And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of
bonds and imprisonment:
37: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the
sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute,
afflicted, tormented;
38: (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in
mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
39: And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the
promise:
40: God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should
not be made perfect.

Hebrews, chapter 12

1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset
us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that
was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at
the right hand of the throne of God.
3: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself,
lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4: Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5: And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto
children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when
thou art rebuked of him:
6: For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he
receiveth.
7: If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is
he whom the father chasteneth not?
8: But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye
bastards, and not sons.
9: Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave
them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of
spirits, and live?
10: For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he
for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11: Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto
them which are exercised thereby.
12: Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13: And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out
of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14: Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the
Lord:
15: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of
bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16: Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel
of meat sold his birthright.
17: For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing,
he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it
carefully with tears.
18: For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned
with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
19: And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that
heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more:
20: (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a
beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:
21: And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and
quake:)
22: But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the
heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
23: To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in
heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made
perfect,
24: And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25: See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who
refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away
from him that speaketh from heaven:
26: Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once
more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27: And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that
are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken
may remain.
28: Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace,
whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29: For our God is a consuming fire.

Hebrews, chapter 13

    1: Let brotherly love continue.
2: Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained
angels unawares.
3: Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer
adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
4: Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and
adulterers God will judge.
5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such
things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
6: So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what
man shall do unto me.
7: Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word
of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
8: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
9: Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good
thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not
profited them that have been occupied therein.
10: We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the
tabernacle.
11: For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by
the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
12: Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood,
suffered without the gate.
13: Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
14: For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
15: By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
16: But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God
is well pleased.
17: Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch
for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy,
and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
18: Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing
to live honestly.
19: But I beseech you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the
sooner.
20: Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that
great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
21: Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that
which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for
ever and ever. Amen.
22: And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have
written a letter unto you in few words.
23: Know ye that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come
shortly, I will see you.
24: Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of
Italy salute you.
25: Grace be with you all. Amen.

Behold, Jesus Christ is coming, are you ready?

Who do you say that I am?

New Posting!!!!!!!

My heart goes out to the people of Haiti at this time. Because they are my brothers and sisters thru Christ, I grieve with them because they are part of the body of Christ and my heart breaks to see them suffer this way. I also stand firm on what the Word of God says about let the dead bury the dead. The nation of Haiti has been a dead nation for a long time now, its more evident now due to this recent destruction, but Jesus must be their hope. The Word also speaks about rumors of wars, nations against nations, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. This generation has seen all those take place at a more rapid rate than any other generation, but the Word also says that we are not to be troubled because the end is not yet here. Its signs letting us know that the coming of the Messiah is very close, very , very, close. I remember listening to earlier reports on the news about the devastation in Haiti, I remember how they showed the Presidential Palace the day before the quake and then they showed the Palace the day after the quake- total ruins. This anchor man went on to say ladies and gentlemen this is a building that was made from iron and steel and heavy concrete cement, almost inciting that it was impossible for this type of structure to fall for anything. Then I remembered the Words of our Lord and Saviour Jesus.

Jesus had said how he would tear down the walls of the temple and build it back up again in three days. People could not understand how he would accomplish this. They remembered how long it took to build, how many hours of mans labor and wages were involved and the length of time it took to build the temple. They really had no understanding on how he would do this. Another time Jesus had went to the temple to pray. People saw this and wondered to themselves why would he tear the walls down of the temple and rebuild it in three days when he himself comes to the temple to pray. As he came out of the temple after he finished praying, the disciples were standing looking and marveling at the temple buildings. They said to Jesus is these structures not magnificent? also trying to test his answer about even if he could tear the temple down and rebuild it? Why? Then Jesus reassured them and said that surely not one stone shall be left standing upon another that will not be thrown to the ground. This was a sign that the structured church built by the hands of man will fail, and has no place in the kingdom of God, but the church within the church that receives Jesus will endure forever. Jesus was that living proof.

On another occasion while Jesus was with the disciples, he had asked them, who do the people say that I am?  The disciples responded and said, some say that you are John the Baptist, some say that you are Elijah, some even say that you are a prophet who has died and come back to life. Then Jesus asked them directly. Who do you say that I am? This was very important because it shows us that it doesn't matter what someone else says about Jesus, what matters is Who do you say that I am? So Peter responded and said you are the Son of the living God! after Jesus heard this he warned his disciples to tell no one this until he fulfilled the Lords plan. He also told Peter that He has heard from the voice of his Father for even he did not reveal that to no man. Because Peter received the Son of God by faith, Jesus based the fundamentals of the church based on Peters faith. Now the same faith that Peter had, Peter also fell away from. When Jesus was foretelling his death, Peter had rebuked Jesus, then Jesus spoke at Peter and said to get from behind me Satan. Peter had no idea that Satan was speaking thru him. When Peter came back to himself, he then said to Jesus, even if the hold world turns aginst you I will be right there by your side. Then Jesus said to Peter that before the cock crows, he will deny knowing him three times. This disturbed Peter because he was defending himself to Jesus, and Jesus was telling him otherwise. When the time came for Peter to deny the Lord, Peter had no idea he was fulfilling the prophetic words of Jesus until he denied Jesus the third time and the sound of the cock crowed. How many of us are having our faith tested? Even right now. This generation will hear the cock crow when the sound of the last trumpet has sounded, at this time we will all give account for the many times we have denied Jesus. Are you denying him? Have you ever denied him? Who do you say that I am?

Behold, Jesus Christ is coming, are you ready?

Woe to you Scribes and Pharisees!

New Posting!!!!!!!

Matthew 23:1-39 (New International Version)

Matthew 23

Seven Woes
1Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 2"The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. 3So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach. 4They tie up heavy loads and put them on men's shoulders, but they themselves are not willing to lift a finger to move them.  5"Everything they do is done for men to see: They make their phylacteries[a] wide and the tassels on their garments long; 6they love the place of honor at banquets and the most important seats in the synagogues; 7they love to be greeted in the marketplaces and to have men call them 'Rabbi.'
8"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ.[b] 11The greatest among you will be your servant. 12For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
13"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the kingdom of heaven in men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.[c]
15"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You travel over land and sea to win a single convert, and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as you are.
16"Woe to you, blind guides! You say, 'If anyone swears by the temple, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.' 17You blind fools! Which is greater: the gold, or the temple that makes the gold sacred? 18You also say, 'If anyone swears by the altar, it means nothing; but if anyone swears by the gift on it, he is bound by his oath.' 19You blind men! Which is greater: the gift, or the altar that makes the gift sacred? 20Therefore, he who swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it. 21And he who swears by the temple swears by it and by the one who dwells in it. 22And he who swears by heaven swears by God's throne and by the one who sits on it.
23"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 24You blind guides! You strain out a gnat but swallow a camel.
25"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.
27"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of dead men's bones and everything unclean. 28In the same way, on the outside you appear to people as righteous but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
29"Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the graves of the righteous. 30And you say, 'If we had lived in the days of our forefathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.' 31So you testify against yourselves that you are the descendants of those who murdered the prophets. 32Fill up, then, the measure of the sin of your forefathers!
33"You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? 34Therefore I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. 35And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation.
37"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. 38Look, your house is left to you desolate. 39For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'[d]"
